Wine tasting: Sparky presents, from the new wine tasting bar, a selection of 7 wines from Klawer Cellar, a cooperative wine cellar where Highlanders delivers its grapes.   Klawer Cellar is one of the largest wine cellars in South Africa and part of the Olifants River Wine Route, which includes Namaqua Wines and Stellar Organic Winery. Dutch settlers planted the first vineyards in the area in the late 1600s; however the intensity of vineyards increased only after the canal was built from Clanwilliam Dam during World War II. Since then the wines have flourished in the region and have won prices locally and internationally.
